Cookie Policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy describes cookies and related technology and explains what the current Velmariq Essanova website actually uses. It also explains how your browser preferences can be managed.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small pieces of information that websites can store in a browser and read on subsequent visits. Related technologies include local storage, session storage and scripts that recognise repeat activity. Their use may serve technical functions such as security or remember preferences, but some implementations can also track behaviour.
This policy explains the position of the present Velmariq Essanova informational café website, rather than describing hypothetical advertising or retail services that it does not currently offer.
2. Current website position
The static frontend has been prepared without third-party analytics tags, social widgets, external ad networks, remote font services or embedded video players. Our own page JavaScript is limited to navigation, loading local business details, and allowing a visitor to copy an enquiry. These functions do not intentionally create tracking cookies or persistent advertising identifiers.
Whether the server that eventually hosts the site sets a strictly necessary technical cookie or writes ordinary access logs depends on its configuration. The site owner should review deployed server behaviour before making an absolute claim about cookies placed by the hosting provider.
3. Strictly necessary technologies
Strictly necessary storage, where used by a hosting or security environment, may help deliver pages, prevent abuse or maintain the basic technical functioning of a service. The law may permit such use without optional-cookie consent, but the operator must still explain relevant processing appropriately.
The current site navigation itself does not need cookies. Opening or closing the mobile menu is an in-page interaction that does not persist a preference across visits.
4. Analytics and measurement
The current website does not intentionally load independent analytics or site-behaviour tracking tools. It does not use third-party measurement tags to follow visitors across websites and does not install a preference cookie for an analytics service.
If non-essential analytics are added in the future, the site should first update this policy and, where necessary, obtain valid consent before activating such tools.
5. Advertising and personalisation
The site is not configured to use advertising pixels, remarketing tags or cross-site profiling cookies. Menu descriptions and product photography are displayed in the same way for all visitors rather than based on a persistent personalised profile.
We do not currently maintain an advertising-cookie preference centre because these optional categories are not deliberately used by this frontend.
6. Enquiry forms and the clipboard
The website’s enquiry form formats the text you enter so that you may copy it and paste it into your email application. It does not set a cookie or save a draft in local storage as part of that operation. Clipboard content is held by your operating system and browser and may remain available until replaced or cleared.
Sending an email through a service that you independently choose may involve that service’s own cookies, privacy settings and retention. Those are not cookies installed by the café website.
7. Local images and fonts
The core images, visual styles and scripts are bundled with the website rather than fetched from advertising or image-delivery services. The font stack uses available device fonts rather than retrieving fonts from a third-party network each time a page is viewed.
Normal browsing still requests these assets from the server hosting the site, which may produce ordinary technical connection logs without setting cookies in the browser.
8. How to inspect or remove browser data
Most browsers include privacy or site-settings controls to view cookies and stored data, delete individual site entries, clear browsing data, or block third-party cookies. The exact control names differ between browsers and devices, and blocking essential site storage could affect a future feature that relies on it.
Clearing browser data does not necessarily erase copies of a message that you deliberately sent by email, nor does it delete technical server records that a hosting provider legitimately retains.
9. Your choices and consent
We do not ask you to consent to optional tracking cookies that the website does not currently set. If future services need optional storage for analytics, marketing or personalisation, we will review the applicable rules under UK privacy law and provide appropriate information and controls before such technology is enabled.
You can also restrict cookies through your browser. This setting is separate from any consent interface that might be introduced for future optional features.
10. Third-party services and links
This site’s visible footer contact details are presented as plain text rather than contact-tracking links. Following a voluntary external link in a future version of the site would take you to an independently controlled service with its own cookie policy.
Our current site does not embed social-network controls or externally hosted media players, so those categories do not form part of the website’s normal frontend loading.
11. Updates and responsible organisation
We will review this policy when website storage or third-party services change. The last-updated date at the top identifies the edition that visitors are reading. We aim to avoid vague references to services that are not active on the site.
